Banna Beach, Co. Kerry
Stretching from Ballyheigue Beach in the north to Barrow Beach in the south, Banna Strand boasts an extensive network of sand dunes which is a designated Special Area of Conservation (SAC). It is also well known as the infamous landing of arms by the executed Sir Roger Casement in the lead up to the 1916 Easter Rising.
Walk the length of the stunning strand or immerse yourself in the beach's role in Irish history. This beach is also of major ecological interest due to both its range of habitats and wildfowl.

Fenit Beach, Co. Kerry
Fenit is a sheltered sandy beach located in County Kerry. It is ideal for bathing and swimming and has great facilities including a large car park, toilets, picnic tables and a nearby playground.
The beach lies within the Tralee Bay and Magharees Peninsula, West to Cloghane Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and proposed Natural Heritage Area (pNHA).
